Earlier this year, Disney confirmed they were working on a live-action film adaption of Kim Possible. Now, the first trailer for the movie is here.

The first trailer for the upcoming TV movie, set to premiere on the Disney Channel on Feb. 15, 2019, debuts Kim's new actor Sadie Stanley and her sidekick, Sean Giambrone's Ron Stoppable. Set in their freshman year of high school, the film will follow the pair as they try to defeat supervillians as well as cope with the day-to-day life of being a teenager. In other words, it's about as faithful a recreation of the series as possible (no pun intended).

The live action Kim Possible is the third full-length film in the franchise, following 2003's Kim Possible: A Stitch in Time and 2005's Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama. Reaction to the trailer hasn't been all that positive so far; many comments on YouTube specifically criticized the special effects.

The original voice actor for Kim Possible, Christy Carlson Romano, will be turning up in this upcoming live-action adaption, although her role is currently unknown. Watch the trailer for the film above.
