Charlamagne tha God has criticized Kanye West once again as the multi-hyphenate continues to target Pete Davidson for dating Kim Kardashian.

The Breakfast Club host has interviewed Ye several times, but in recent months he’s been vocal about some of West’s more extreme behavior amid his divorce. In January, Charlamagne called Ye’s line on “Eazy” about Davidson “corny,” and this month expressed support for the Saturday Night Live star. Upon handing out his “Donkey of the Day” dishonor on Monday, Charlamagne said Kanye is actively letting his ego cause harm.

“This is all coming from a place of love, Donkey of the Day for Monday, March 14 goes to Kanye West,” CTG said. “Now we have to be specific nowadays ’cause people try to conflate situations in order to defend and justify BS. That’s what happens a lot in the case of Kanye West—nobody is better at conflating BS with real issues to make himself look like the victim than Kanye West.”

Charlamagne made sure to stress he has sympathy for Ye’s plight regarding his kids, but he didn’t hold back on what he makes of various comments Yeezy has made.

“Kanye doesn’t want his kids on TikTok, I understand that totally,” said Charlamagne. “Kanye West, this is Charlamagne talking. … You have more negative influence on people than TikTok ever will. Does Kanye West think depicting the murder of his ex-wife’s boyfriend in a music video, decapitating him and burying him, is a positive image? Is he okay with his kids, or any kids, seeing those images? You think that video of you murdering Pete wasn’t all over TikTok?”

The radio host highlighted that Kanye really pushed his Christianity as part of his image in the lead-up to his 2019 album Jesus Is King, but that attitude appears to have vanished. “What happened to your love of Christ?” Charlamagne wondered. “You have to be the change you want to see in the world, Kanye. … You told people where D.L. Hughley lives on Instagram. Why?! What if somebody did that to you and your family?”

He suggested Kanye is “playing a dangerous game” and has continued to play the victim after slandering Davidson online. At this point, Charlamagne referred to alleged texts in which the comedian defended Kim Kardashian and supposedly said he’s “done being quiet” about the situation. “He told you to go get some help,” Charlamagne said, “You just mad that Pete Davidson is with Kim Kardashian.”

Those texts featured a purported response from Davidson in which he said he was “in bed with your wife” after Kanye asked where he was. Charlamagne thinks the SNL star is “justified” in responding that way. “He’s done nothing to you, your ex-wife chose him!” CTG said, calling Pete more “mature” than Ye. He also pointed out Kanye criticizing “Democratic pawns” despite his obvious love for Trump and running a presidential campaign allegedly funded by Republicans.

Charlamagne ultimately said Kanye should “stop bleeding on people who didn’t cut you,” warning he could risk losing everything for his ego. He also revealed he had a phone call with Ye last year that indicated why he’s truly angry at Pete Davidson.

“You told me what you really mad about, king! You told me what is really bothering you in this situation! This is why it’s hard to take you serious when I see you rant," said Charlamagne, who refused to explain. "You know I know! You can fool people on social media, you can fool the general public, but you know I know. Let’s just leave it at that for now…unless, Kanye, you want me to say more. Personally, I’ma just send you some healing energy.”
