Former WWE wrestler Enzo Amore was tossed out of the Staples Center in Los Angeles after attempting to interrupt the promotion's Pay-Per-View Survivor Series event.
Amore, whose real name is Eric Ardnt, stood on a chair and chanted several of his catchphrases from his day's wrestling for WWE. He was snatched away by venue security and eventually walked out as he held his hands up in the air. Amore wore a shirt that said "I'm doin' great" in spite of all the evidence to the contrary. He snuck into the arena by wearing a black wig to cover his bleach blonde hair.
Amore was released from the WWE after six years with the promotion in January. The wrestler and the sports entertainment company parted ways after Amore was accused of sexual misconduct. At the time, he was the champion of their cruiserweight division.
Amore was accused of raping a woman named Philomena Sheahan in October of last year. The accusations were leveled at the wrestler over social media and Arizona police confirmed that a report had been filed matching the details of the online allegations. Amore's accuser shared her side of the story in the weeks after the wrestler was fired. No charges were filed in the incident, which reportedly happened at a resort in Phoenix. Authorities cited a lack of evidence.
