Report: TikToker 'Mr. Prada' Arrested Amid Louisiana Murder Investigation of Therapist

Police initially released a photo of a person of interest connected to the murder of Baton Rouge-native William Nicholas Abraham, who was found dumped in a ditch on Sunday morning.

UPDATED 10/3, 3:55 p.m. ET: The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana announced that Terryon Thomas, the 20-year-old TikTok creator known as Mr Prada, has been charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice, according to NBC News.

The charges are in connection to the death of 69-year-old therapist William Nicholas Abraham of Baton Rouge, whose body was found wrapped in a tarp and dumped in a ditch in the Village of Tangipahoa. Law enforcement officials noted the cause of death as “blunt force trauma.”

The sheriff’s office conducted a search of Thomas’ home and reportedly discovered evidence of a violent altercation that occurred inside. According to an arrest warrant affidavit reviewed by NBC News, police found “a significant amount of blood” and “multiple sharp objects and other weapons.”

New surveillance footage also reportedly showed Abraham arriving at Thomas' apartment on Saturday wearing the same clothes he was found dead in the following day, per the affidavit.

Witnesses allegedly saw Thomas moving a tarp down the stairs of the apartment complex and loading it into Abraham’s vehicle.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating the relationship between both men, noting that there was “no evidence” suggesting that Thomas was Abraham’s client.

Thomas is currently in custody in Dallas but will be extradited to Louisiana. A court date is pending.

Popular TikTok creator Mr. Prada was arrested amid an investigation into the murder of a Louisiana therapist this week, according to USA Today.

Per WBRZ, citing an affidavit for an arrest warrant, one has indeed been issued for 20-year-old Terryon Thomas. The doc states that there is “probable cause to believe” that Thomas committed the following accused crimes: aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Notably, as highlighted in the report, the warrant itself does not directly name Thomas as a suspect in the death of 69-year-old therapist William Nicholas Abraham. The outlet, as well as WVUE, both cited Baton Rouge police reps as confirming that Thomas and “Mr. Prada” were one and the same.

A mugshot has since been released, with USA Today-cited online jail records showing that Thomas was arrested in the Dallas County area of Texas on Tuesday.

On Monday night, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office initially released photos of a “person of interest” they were seeking for questioning in connection to Abraham's murder, according to FOX 8 New Orleans.

The individual, whose image was captured by a store surveillance camera, is reportedly the last known person to have driven the vehicle belonging to the deceased victim.

Abraham was reportedly working as a Baton Rouge-based mental health therapist at the time of his death. As a former Catholic priest and motivational speaker and author, he was regularly seen on cable television in the area.

His body was found Sunday morning, wrapped in a tarp and dumped in a ditch in the Village of Tangipahoa, after a passerby reported it to local law enforcement.

Some social media users were quick to spread speculation about TikTok creator Mr. Prada, whom they said bore a resemblance to the person of interest in the photos shared by law enforcement.

The coroner’s office determined that Abraham’s cause of death was from blunt force trauma and ruled it a homicide.

“It was a very physical, very violent death,” Sheriff Gerald Sticker told FOX 8, noting that his office was unaware of any connections the therapist may have had to the area.

Abraham’s home was searched by police who say they found no signs that a crime had been committed there. His car was eventually discovered in the Baton Rouge area on Monday afternoon. According to WAFB, a person inside the vehicle crashed and then took off on foot.

The investigation is still ongoing. Complex has reached out to the Baton Rouge Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office for comment. This story may be updated.
