In an effort to capitalize on quarantined America's continued thirst for cat collecting weirdos, Investigation Discovery has plans to release their own docu-series on the subject of currently incarcerated Tiger Kingstar Joe Exotic. This, of course, is for those who haven't gotten enough of their fill after watching the seven-part Netflix series that is also, allegedly, set to release a bonus episode this week.

As for the ID rendition, that's currently titled Investigating the Strange World of Joe Exotic. ID is dubbing the special the "definitive sequel" to the Tiger King series, which wrapped with the star in prison due to animal cruelty and a murder-for-hire plot intended to take out longtime rival (and fellow loopy tiger connoisseur) Carole Baskin.

A press release sent out by ID said that their special "delves into the biggest mystery in true crime today, helmed by the biggest character in the world: Joe Exotic, himself."

Anybody who's ever watched that channel could probably connect the dots as to how this fits in with their everyday programming. But, in case you don't have cable or stream it or whatever, a statement from the channel's head honcho cleared that up.

"Viewers are understandably riveted by Netflix's Tiger King, but the millions of true crime fans around the world were left wanting more," said ID president Henry Schleiff, according to E! News. "ID is the perfect place to find the inevitable sequel to this drama—featuring a missing husband, a hit man, and the illegal business of exotic animals. It's time to let the cat out of the bag and address the lingering questions that viewers demand be answered."

That "missing husband" part is where Baskin comes in, as the Netflix series already laid out the Joe-Exotic-endorsed-theory that she chopped up her missing (and declared dead) husband Don Lewis and fed him to her tigers back in 1997. This, of course, remains an allegation, but ID is teasing that their investigation will reveal "the secrets only Joe knows." They say the show will also have "exclusive footage" that will aid the search for whether or not Baskin's responsible for Lewis's disappearance and death.

Secrets regarding Jeff Lowe and Doc Antle will also be mentioned in some way (though whether that means they'll subject themselves to more interviews or not remains unclear).

A premiere date is yet to be set.
