Salma Hayek had the perfect response when it was suggested that she uses too much botox.
"Too much Botox," one user wrote after she shared the above selfie. "Not needed Salma!"
Instead of taking offense to the accusation, Hayek responded by taking the comment as a backhanded compliment.
"I don't have Botox," Hayek replied. "But thank you for the advice because I was thinking maybe it's time."
This is not the first time the 53-years-old actress has faced questions about cosmetic procedures. Although she's not opposed to the idea, she told Town & Country in March 2019 that she's never gone under the knife.
"I haven’t done an-y-thing," Hayek said when explaining how well she's aged. "I don’t know how to explain it."
Hayek has toyed with the idea, when she was shooting the film Like a Boss. Hayek says she considered getting lip fillers, but as soon as the needle got near her mouth, she backed out.
"My friend [dermatologist] Dr. [Maurice] Dray said, 'I don't know if you're going to be happy because it's going to hurt super bad,'" Hayek told InStyle. "I said, 'Well, let's give it a try.' He put the first needle in my mouth, and I immediately said, 'No! Forget it! I'm done!'"
One person who recently got up close and personal with Hayek was none other than Eminem, who had a memorable run-in with the actress at this year's Oscars.
