Friday, the Lupita Nyong'o-starring Little Monsters will hit Hulu just in time for peak Halloween festivities. But first, we have the Us and Rise of Skywalker star freestyling as her alter ego Troublemaker on the latest Tonight Show.

After some quick talk about serving as lyrical inspiration for Beyoncé and JAY-Z, Lupita was asked about the Troublemaker name, which ultimately resulted in a quick bit of free styling with some musical framework assistance from The Roots.

"Yes, Troublemaker," she said of the title. "The thing about Troublemaker, first of all, [is] I was baptized Troublemaker by Common so I feel like it's legit. It's something I do in a car, so I need a car. But, OK, if I had a mic…"

Of course, a mic then appeared, as did the also-required pair of sunglasses. Lupita then agreed to a quick freestyle, but only under one more condition: "Only if The Roots will join me," she said, which they indeed did. Catch that up top.

Little Monsters, meanwhile, enjoy a Sundance Film Festival premiere back in January. Lupita is joined in the cast by Alexander England, Josh Gad, and Kat Stewart. Abe Forsythe, known for Computer Boy and Down Under, directed from his own script.
