Lin-Manuel Miranda was at San Diego Comic-Con to promote both HBO's His Dark Materials and Disney's DuckTales, but during his downtime he wanted to make sure he could check out the showfloor. Of course, like many celebrities before him, he had to adopt a disguise to be able to walk around without being bothered by too many fans. His DuckTales co-star Ben Schwartz, who he walked around Comic-Con with on the Saturday (July 20) posted a pic that showed Miranda's disguise of choice was Deadpool.
"Lin and I walked the #ComicCon floor this morning and soaked up all the creativity, love and smells everyone put in the air," Schwartz revealed on Twitter alongside the pictures of the pair in their costumes. Schwartz didn't commit quite as much as Miranda did, however. "Now it can be told," Miranda said upon retweeting Schwartz.
To cap it all off, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld revealed that he was shocked to learn that Miranda donned the costume. "This blew me away," he wrote on Instagram.
Game of Thrones actor Jacob Anderson, also known as Raleigh Ritchie, wore a disguise of his own so that he could explore Comic-Con, too. "I love SDCC. So much. I feel like I'm amongst my people," the British actor and musician tweeted with a picture of him as Spider-Man.
