Pete Davidson's MGK-approved relationship/conscious coupling/whatever with Kate Beckinsale has reportedly arrived at the finish line.

We are tasked with telling you this by way of a report from Entertainment Tonight, whose entertainment Thursday night included an update on the two. "They're still friendly but are not on romantic terms," an alleged source told the publication. Davidson and Beckinsale are further alleged to be not presently dating, though—as the source explained—on good terms.

A separate report stops short of similar finality vibes, choosing instead to cite a source as saying the two have decided to "slow things down" for now. "Pete and Kate got super serious very fast but they've decided to slow things down a bit," a source, presumably a different one, toldPeople Thursday.

The relationship was addressed during a Weekend Update segment on SNL last month. "[The age difference] doesn't really bother us, but then again I'm new to this," Davidson joked at the time before running down an extended list of other famous people who might be able to offer some greater insight.

Davidson hit Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank earlier this week, where friend MGK (a.k.a. Colson Baker) gave stand-up a shot. The moment was apparently the result of a lost bet. Beckinsale, meanwhile, can currently be seen in the Amazon original series The Widow.

As always, it's at least somewhat worth pointing out that none of this is any of our business, not to mention the fact that a key element of entering a relationship is the generally unspoken understanding that it's most likely going to end anyway.

Happy Friday.
