Los Angeles comic Brody Stevens died of an apparent suicide on Feb. 22. News of his death spread quickly through a town where he seems to have worked with just about everybody, both in his roles in films like The Hangover and as a warm-up act for shows all over the city he called home for his entire life.
The 48-year-old Comedy Store staple was toasted on Twitter by a who's who of comics, including Patton Oswalt, Sarah Silverman, Bob Saget, and Maria Bamford, among others.
