Earlier this year it was revealed that MTV was developing a sequel to the 2001 stoner classic How High, with Lil Yachty set to star. While Method Man and Redman won't be reprising their roles from the original film, Yachty does have some interesting company.

As revealed by Deadline, Yachty will be starring alongside Wild 'N Out's DC Young Fly, with Alyssa Goss, DeRay Davis, and Mary Lynn Rajskub set to co-star. Even more interesting, Lil Baby will appear, and NeNe Leakes, Tiny Harris, Cynthia Bailey, and Shekinah Jo are also billed. How High 2 is being produced by MTV and Universal 1440 Entertainment, which is the home entertainment-oriented branch of Universal.

Currently filming in Atlanta, the final product is set to premiere spring 2019 MTV. It's unclear how prominent of a role Lil Baby will have, but it's likely it'll be a cameo.

How High 2 is written by Shawn Ries and Artie Johann of Family Guy, Alex Blagg of Workaholics, and Neel Shah of Powerless. The movie is set to follow the adventures of two characters played by Yachty and DC Young Fly as they try to launch their on-demand munchies delivery company. Kevin "Coach K" Lee, Pierre "Pee" Thomas, and Lil Yachty all serve as executive producers.
