Will Smith Wants Kevin Hart to Film a Movie with Him Before Next July

Will Smith wants to collaborate with fellow Philadelphia actor and comedian, Kevin Hart. The two have never appeared in a movie together, but Smith wants to change that ASAP.

Will Smith is teaming back up with Martin Lawrence for another installment of the Bad Boys franchise, Bad Boys 4 Life. But Lawrence isn't the only comedian Smith wants to work with in the future.

For Kevin Hart's birthday, the 49-year-old actor took to Instagram to share some throwback footage to the time he crashed Hart's CinemaCon red carpet interview with Access Hollywood's Liz Hernandez. "Happy Bday, Kev! @lizhernandez needs to interview us for a REAL MOVIE! What’s Up, Sun?!? Before your next bday, Let’s make a movie! @kevinhart4real," read the caption of the video.

Hart has teamed up with a few notable people of his own in the past few years including Ice Cube in Ride Along and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in Central Intelligence. Although he's interacted with Smith on a number of occasions—including the aforementioned red carpet interview and that time he tried to "show off" his Spanish speaking skills in response to Smith's impressive capabilities. But if a film happens, this will be the first time the two Philadelphia natives collaborate on the big screen together.

Hart might have just the film in mind as well since he's already on board to star in a remake of Uptown Saturday Night, which is being produced by Smith's company Overbook Entertainment. The 1974 comedy originally starred Sidney Poitier and pre-disgraced Bill Cosby and oddly enough, a remake was in the works before with Denzel Washington and Smith set to take on the roles. Either way, it's sure to be entertaining to see Smith and Hart on the same screen. Do your thing internet. Let's make it happen.
