Khloé Kardashian Apologizes Amid Backlash For Using the 'R Word'

Khloe received immediate backlash from fans for using the word, and shared an apology over the weekend: "Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that? You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry!"

While broadcasting live on Instagram late last week, Khloé Kardashian caught heat for repeatedly using the "r word" while struggling to figure out how to start the live session.

"Yes, you can, you fucking retard," she says to her sister Kourtney Kardashian in a since-deleted Instagram Live video—which has been re-uploaded to YouTube—while her trainer holds the camera.

Kardashian received immediate backlash for using the word, as fans on Twitter started saying things like, "People like Khloé Kardashian make me sick. Throwing the 'R' word around casually is a sick thing. Wish we cared about this word as much as other offensive words."

On Friday, Kardashian responded to one fan who wrote, "I was watching your livestream on Instagram until you said the 'r' word. You should pay more attention to your word choices especially since you have a huge following and don’t know who you could be offending." Kardashian agreed with the fan and apologized: "Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that? You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry!"

This controversy comes on the heels of Khloé's recent battle over false reports that she had a "tense" dinner date with her ex Tristan Thompson. After the Daily Mail broke the incorrect story, she wrote on Twitter, "You make up anything!! I actually had a great night. It was a large birthday dinner for friends and as a new mom IM TIRED AF!! Being out past 10pm is not where I’ll have the most energy these days."

Let's hope for a calm rest of the summer for Khloé and and her new baby daughter True
