Kylie Jenner may soon take the Kardashian crown. King Kylie is now officially the second-highest earner overall in the Kardashian-Jenner fam, Forbes reported in their annual 30 Under 30 list. The King Kylie money mountain has grown substantially over the past year, thanks in large part to her hella popular Kylie Cosmetics line.
"The reality TV star's Kylie Cosmetics line has gone from strength to strength, with each incarnation of her $29 Lip Kits selling out upon release," Forbes explained. "Sources close to the teenager suggest the glosses did 7 figures in revenues in 2016 alone. Jenner also puts her name to an apparel line, alongside model sister Kendall. Per Forbes' estimates, she's the second-highest annual earner overall in her family, after half-sister Kim Kardashian."
In a previous profile of top-earning reality TV stars, Forbes estimated Kim Kardashian—still the No. 1 money accumulator in the fam—bagged $51 million between June 2015 and June 2016. During the same period, Kylie Jenner earned $18 million against Kendall's third-place total of $17 million:
Speaking with Complex for her cover story feature back in October, Kylie said her growing fame was balanced by her decision to carefully select which parts of her life were shared with fans. "I don't sit around and stare at my cars and Snapchat them," she told Complex. "That's what people think I do, but there's a big part of my life that I don't like to show. I'm 'Kylie Jenner' to the world, but I'm just 'Kylie' to my friends and family."
Watch the throne, Kim.
