New ISIS Video Threatens Attack on New York City

ISIS has released a video threatening to attack New York City.

After taking responsibility for the horrific Paris attacks ISIS revealed in the same video that the attacks were "just the beginning." The terrorist group is proving that with a new video that reveals the next location the group has set its sights on: New York City.

In a video released by ISIS’s media outlet the Furat Media Center, old footage from a music video in April—with a suicide bomber gearing up to hit Times Square—was used. Before scenes of the Big Apple appear an ISIS member is seen repeating that the Paris attacks were "just the beginning." The video also featured France’s President Francois Hollande’s address after the attacks where he declared war on ISIS. More images of Times Square appear after, such as billboards and yellow taxis, before a final message comes on the screen reading:

"and what is to come will be worse and more bitter."

New York City Police Department spokesman Stephen Davis said the NYPD has seen the video. Davis said, "While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target."
