Otherwise happy Canadians are likely overcome with intellectual fear this morning after Wednesday's episode of South Park, in which Trey Parker and Matt Stone gifted America's leading "honey-glazed tiger testicle" Donald Trump with the position of "president of Canada." As horrifying as such a possibility may be, the episode didn't settle for just one moment of beautifully exaggerated satire. Enjoy the following diatribe from Wednesday's episode, while consciously replacing every mention of "Canada" with "America" and then weep for the potential future of mankind:
There were several candidates during the Canadian election. One of them was this rash asshole who just spoke his mind. He didn’t really offer any solutions. He just said outrageous things. We thought he was funny. Nobody ever thought he’d be President! It was a joke! But we just let the joke go on for too long. He kept gaining momentum, and by the time we were ready to say, ‘Let’s get serious now, who should really be President?’ he was already being sworn into office. We weren’t paying attention!
Brilliant. Parker, Stone, and company thankfully didn't leave their commentary at the doorstep of brevity, instead bestowing upon Garrison the tedious task of (SPOILER ALERT?) sexually assaulting and ultimately killing a characteristically poor animation of Donald Trump.
Make America Sane Again.
