A hot slice—that's all it took to get Florida man Daniel Plunkett in trouble with the cops after a dispute with his female roommate.
Plunkett has been jailed for "allegedly throwing a hot slice of pizza" at his roommate, Brenda Fiejdasz after they "had an argument about pizza," The Smoking Gun reports. In the criminal complaint against Plunkett, no further details were given about the nature of that pizza dispute. (But it's pretty clear, no? Sometimes things go down.)
Thankfully, Plunkett and Fiejdasz came out with relatively few injuries. "The pizza was hot, the victim had no injury," said an officer. She did have some sauce on her shoulder, but was able to clean it up—thank goodness.
Plunkett denies throwing the pizza, but was still arrested for simple battery and is being held without bond.
