In other DC Movie Universe news, two new actors are joining the growing Suicide Squad cast list. Scott Eastwood along with Ray Olubowale confirmed they are indeed appearing in the Warner Bros. film. Though the roles outside of the main cast remain hush-hush, fans are already speculating on which characters the two actors will play in the movie.
After appearing in an Instagram photo alongside Cara Delevingne in Toronto (Delevingne also has a role in the film), Eastwood confirmed to eTalk he has been working on theupcoming movie. Some speculate Clint Eastwood's son, Scott, will play a small but meaningful role. He was last seen in David Ayer's Fury and has a starring role in Nicholas Sparks' The Longest Ride.
Olubowale is a Nigerian-Canadian boxer who acts in movies on the side, like playing the "Axe Undead" in Resident Evil: Afterlife. There are rumors that Olubowale will portray King Shark, but it has yet to be confirmed.
The actors join a growing cast that includes Will Smith (Deadshot), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (The Joker), Jai Courtney (Boomerang), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller). Suicide Squad opens in theaters August 5th, 2016.
