Weddings are massive events. They’re supposed to be the best day of your life. Nothing can go wrong. Not the catering, not the weather, not anything. Well, this Indian bride didn’t exactly have the dream big day. According to the Times Of India, her husband-to-be had a seizure and collapsed in front just before saying “I do”. He was ok in the end, but was rushed to hospital and missed the wedding.
So what’s a girl to do? Simple, just find a replacement groom. Because marriage isn’t about love or anything, is it? She asked one of her brother-in-law’s family to step up to the plate and fill in. He obliged, and she married him instead. He might have been planning to chirpse a bridesmaid, but he ended up with the bride herself.
Understandably, when the groom came too, he pretty pissed to find his bae had married someone else. He even lodged a complaint with the police—though they weren’t’ really able to help.
