Lindsay Lohan just can't fight her inner hoodrat. The 26-year-old was arrested early this morning for allegedly assaulting a woman at Avenue nightclub in Chelsea. Though it's still unclear how the fight began, TMZ reports that Lohan and the woman were seated in booths near each other and exchanged a few choice words prior to the incident.
After the initial argument, Lohan allegedly asked the woman to "give me my space." A little while later, she reportedly punched the woman dead in the face. She was released around 8 a.m. and given a desk appearance ticket for a later court date prior to her release.
Keep in mind that Lohan, who just appeared in Lloyd Kramer's Liz & Dick, is on probation for that 2011 jewelry store incident. If she's convicted, she could be sent back to the slammer.
