It's common for tech companies to bestow hokey names onto the streets where its headquarters reside. Apple, for example, has its main building located at 1 Infinite Loop. Microsoft resides at 1 Microsoft Way. Genentech, a company that specializes in biotechnology, can be found at 1 DNA Way. Facebook has now joined the club by christening its new addresses as 1 Hacker Way

According to Tech Crunch, Facebook wanted its address to be 1 Social Circle, but Google's social network, Google+ and its circle-oriented friend system, forced it to abandon the idea.  Facebook's central campus will be located at 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California, while other departments within the company will have addresses at various points along Hacker Way (Facebook's legal department can be found at 18 Hacker Way).

Hey, it's better than Microsoft's address: 1 Microsoft Way.
