YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been accused of using a urine device during one of his routine drug tests carried out as part of the conditions of his release.

Per court documents submitted in response to a request from YoungBoy’s legal team asking for his release conditions to be loosened, the rapper was allegedly caught by an officer using such a device to fake the results of a drug test. “During the [urine] screen, the observing officer noticed a device was being used to allow the urine into the testing cup,” reads the court documents, which allege that YoungBoy quickly pulled up his pants after he questioned about the alleged device. “The defendant denied using a device and would not comply with the officers attempts to view the device.”

The alleged incident happened on July 26, and he was informed that he would be required to take another test as a result. He was told to wait in the lobby of the facility where the tests take place, but is said to have left before he could do the test again. The following day he reported to the probation office, and provided a sample that returned positive for THC, the main psychoactive compound found in marijuana. In response he claimed that he had been using a CBD vape pen during his pretrial supervision, and explained that he took an at-home drug test the previous week which turned up positive, prompting him to panic. He denied using a device to cheat the test, however.

“The defendant’s flagrant violations of his terms of pretrial release, that he committed around the date of filing his motion to amend conditions of pretrial release, suggest that he should not be rewarded with a relaxation of his conditions of release, but would instead benefit from more stringent conditions to include an increase in drug testing frequency as well as drug treatment,” read the documents, which asks the judge on his case to not relax the conditions of his release.

A decision has yet to be announced about the rapper’s release conditions.

The same documents accuse YoungBoy of violating his probation by visiting a recording studio in California. He is currently awaiting trial on house arrest in Utah from his pending Baton Rouge gun case, which is a result of his arrest in September, 2020. YB was recently found not guilty in his federal gun case in California.
