Montreal Rapper Young A Stunnin Killed in Downtown Shooting

21-year-old Montreal rapper Young A Stunnin was killed on Tuesday during a shooting near the Bell Centre on the corner of Sainte-Antoine and Montagne.

The Montreal rap community is mourning the passing of 21-year-old rapper Young A Stunnin.

The “New Day” rapper and 100 Family Records member, real name Jean-Philippe Adam, was shot and killed Tuesday night at the intersection of Saint-Antoine St. and De La Montagne St. near the Bell Centre. According to a TVA report, he was one of three people shot in the incident: one is in critical condition and the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 

Friends and rappers flooded the rapper’s final post in his Instagram feed to send their condolences.

Young A Stunnin released the single “Murk” with Busy Bro$ in 2020, followed by “Old Head” later that year. In 2021, he dropped his biggest single, “New Day.”
