The Weeknd has dropped off a bouncy Kaytranada-helmed remix of his Dawn FM track “Out of Time.”
Dawn FM was released back in January of this year and saw guests Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Josh Safdie, and Jim Carrey contribute to the project. The album, The Weeknd’s fifth studio outing, debuted at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 200 with 148,000 album-equivalent units. The album has since racked up an impressive 2 billion streams globally with 160 million of those streams coming from “Out of Time.”
Speaking of “Out of Time,” the After Hours artist shared the music video for the original version of the track earlier this month. The visuals featured Squid Game star HoYeon Jung and the aforementioned Carrey, who appears on Dawn FM.
In other news, The Weeknd is set to return to Indio, California’s Empire Polo Club to headline Coachella for a second weekend in a row with Swedish House Mafia this coming Sunday, April 24.
