During the latest episode of the Drink Champs podcast, Pusha-T said that he’s been banned from Canada after a 2018 Toronto concert that went down amid his beef with Drake ended in a brawl.

When discussing his history of beefs with J. Prince and Lil Wayne, among others, Pusha said that he’s been banned from the country following his infamous 2018 concert. He made the comment after N.O.R.E. suggested that he would want a collaboration with Drake if it were him beefing with the OVO rapper, but Push doesn’t feel the same.

“I don’t want it,” Pusha said. “I’m cool without it.” When asked if they were at peace, Push added, “I’m at peace. … I want nothing.” Asked why he’s not willing to specifically patch up things with Drake, rather than his current attitude of staying out of it, he said, “Because things that I don’t speak on, and things I won’t speak on have happened since. … For me, it ain’t even about, you know. If it was just a rap thing and what is what it was, y’know, that was cool.”

Then he explained why he won’t be playing any shows in Canada, Drake’s home country, anytime soon. “I’m banned from Canada,” he said, to which N.O.R.E. suggested that he “went too far” on his diss record. “I don’t care. There is no too far! I don’t play like that, that’s why you don’t play with me… Leave me alone! Leave me be! Because there is no too far.” He said that he’s since stopped talking to anybody who told him he “went too far” over the situation.

Later, when the subject of Push being banned from Canada was brought up again, the It’s Almost Dry rapper said that he didn’t want to get into it but revealed that it was his manager who informed him that he couldn't visit the country.

Push also addressed the Kanye and Drake Free Larry Hoover benefit concert and why he didn’t have an issue with his close collaborator cozying up with Drizzy. “I know how to compartmentalize everything,” he said, to which N.O.R.E. suggested they needed to patch-up their beef and make music together. “Nah I don’t even think they make good music together,” Push replied. “That’s the wildest part, there’s not even a hot record.” N.O.R.E. mentioned “Glow” from More Life, and the former Clipse rapper simply replied, “What?”

He conceded that Kanye looked “amazing,” and it “was good” for the relationship between the rappers.

At the 32:30 point of the episode, Pusha elaborated on his recent response to Jack Harlow and Drake’s song “Churchill Downs,” which many have perceived as a diss directed at him. He previously told Breakfast Club that the song sounded “old,” and he reiterated those comments on Drink Champs.

“When I say old, it sounded old, just to me. The flows, the raps,” he said. “It wasn’t what it is that I think… four years later, after what I did.” When pressed for more, N.O.R.E. pointed out that Drake’s lyrics on the track are very much about him not forgetting what Pusha did to him with his scathing diss track, “The Story of Adonis.”

“I don’t care! I don’t care what they forget,” he said. “Just being totally, totally honest, I don’t give a fuck. And I think they know it! Like they know, all parties know it. Ye know it. He know. I’m not playing with anybody, I’m not.” He said that Kanye asked him to attend his concert with Drake last year, and he declined the invitation. “It’s simply because, like, at this point none of this a game to me,” he said. “I’m doing my best to let bygones be bygones. I’m chilling, I’m good.”
