Just over a month after announcing its existence, Paul Wall and Termanology return with their new collaborative album Start 2 Finish.

The 10-track project features the previously released singles “No Tolerance,” “Recognize My Car,” and “No Asterisk,” as well as guest appearances from Bun B, Kxng Crooked, Mia Jae, Fly Anakin, Nems, Millyz, Jared Evan, C Scharp, and Wais P.

In tandem with the release, Paul and Term enlisted Bun B for the music video for one of the LP’s standout cuts, “Thailand.” Check out the video for the track up top.

Start 2 Finish includes beats from Pete Rock, Dame Grease, Termanology, and J. Cardim, but the majority of the production is handled by Statik Selektah. And for good reason: the famed producer has close collaborative relationships with both Paul Wall and Termanology, as he recently joined forces with the former on 2019’s Give Thanks, and with the latter on 2020’s The Quarantine.

While chatting with HipHopDX about the album, Paul didn’t shy away from praising the chemistry between the trio.

“With Statik, I was so hungry and just wanted the opportunity to work with a dope producer like that,” Wall explained. “I’ve worked with a lot of dope producers, but man, Statik one of the GOATs, so to be able to do something with him in that type of style, it just brought out things in me I didn’t know I had. Linking with Termanology throughout that project, it was just one of those things where we got to be cool.”
