The Offset vs. J. Prince drama continues.
On Wednesday, the Rap-A-Lot Records boss shared a lengthy Instagram post in which he referred to Offset as a liar and a “snake.”
“This clown Offset suffering from being a fake motherfucker disease,” J. Prince said in a voiceover. “He wanna play victim now, but he was a volunteer when he spoke threats about me and my family name in his mouth about what he gonna do. ‘Why you didn’t call me to talk?’ is the twist he wanna use. Tell lies in your woman’s ear, n***a. I don’t have time to listen to weak shit. Now you wanna fake in front of a camera, trying to hide behind Takeoff’s mother when I’ve shown nothing but respect for her and her family. See, boy, you acting like you’re a part of a family that don’t really fuck with you because you’re a snake.”
Prince then took a few moments to remind Offset about their purported conversations surrounding Offset’s safety concerns and his supposed beef with Sauce Walka.
“Remember we talked when you got your ass whooped in Atlanta? You forgot?” Prince asked. “Remember when you called upon me and I came to L.A. and met with you because you was nervous about your wife performing because she had them issues about using the word ‘flu’? You forgot? Remember when you and Sauce Walka was beefing and you wanted me to stomp that bullshit? You forgot that too? I can go on, but I think you remember now.”
Prince went on to mention Quavo’s Grammy tribute to Takeoff, who was fatally shot back in November. The Migos member performed “Without You,” alongside Atlanta-based gospel collective Maverick City Music. Though Offset was at the ceremony, he was noticeably absent from the tribute segment. It was later alleged that he and Quavo got into a backstage argument following the performance.
“See this is the reason I say blood make you kin and loyalty make you family because of motherfuckers like you that have stuck a knife in the back of the ones you call your brother,” Prince continued. “Explain—since you’re a real ass n***a—explain to the people the real reason why you weren’t on that stage at the Grammys with Quavo, who you call your brother, for the tribute. You ain’t man enough to do that because you what we call a ‘tender dick n***a.’ Takeoff, Quavo, and the family wasn’t fuckin’ with you for a while before his passing and still don’t fuck with you because you a rattlesnake n***a. Quavo been letting you make it because he gotta good heart.”
He then issued a thinly veiled threat. “It’s consequences when you fuck with me. I don’t have no heart for no snake, and I give you what you ask for. And by the way, I don’t think I’m no John Gotti. That ain’t who I looked up to. It’s no secret who my OG is: the flag you perpetrate with. Homie, you better go do what you do best. Write some rhymes and quit playing gangsta. I don’t want no trouble, peace.”
Shortly after the post, Offset’s wife Cardi B wrote on Twitter, “BIG LIES.”
Offset came out swinging after that, calling Prince a cop.
“Street N***a turn👮🏾never needed you for no smoke u da police all mouth with no proof just fairy tales 😂 let this be the last time we speak on this,” Offset tweeted.
In addition to the voiceover, Prince wrote in his IG caption, “A MESSAGE TO THE MAN THATS OFF. To those of you that still live on principles over emotions that know and respect me it’s all good. I don’t care about the media hoes; they eat shit for a living. We live on different planets and breathe different air if you know what I mean. I only display loyalty and friendship to my brothers and sisters until they show me they’re unworthy. Never been a bully or lived a life where I abused my power on the weak. No matter what you heard; it’s cap. I’m glad I’m not one of those individuals that my family has to hold their head down when my name is mentioned. So excuse me while I deal with these clowns because ain’t nobody gonna tell them the truth like I’m a give it to them.”
The post came just days after Prince’s appearance on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, when addressed Takeoff’s death and the late rapper’s relationship with Offset.
“They be throwing rocks and hiding they hand, and I don’t like them kind of individuals,” Prince said. “And the truth of the matter is, one can dance and different things in front of different cameras and all that kind of shit. In reality, the truth of the matter is you wasn’t really right there with Takeoff when he was alive, you know what I mean? So for you to be taking these positions that you’ve taken—and I’ve got people everywhere so I hear all kinds of things—I’mma just say this to you. Don’t ever put me in no position where I have to defend myself. That wouldn’t be healthy for you. I have to say that.”
Offset fired back on social media at the time.
“Y’all n***as speaking on my real brother…I don’t know what the fuck ya’ll n***as got going on, y’all n***as talkin’ about my real brother,” he said in a since-deleted Instagram post. “How dare one of y’all n***as even speak on me and Take relationship. I don’t know you n***as from a can of paint. Ya’ll n***as don’t know how me and my brother rock.”
