Ari Fletcher has accused her ex G Herbo’s fiancée Taina Williams of hurting her young son with Herb, Yosohn, which prompted the Chicago rapper to issue a response.
The situation appeared to stem from a series of videos Fletcher shared, which showed Yosohn making it clear how much he does not want his mother to have another child. In the clips, he could be seen throwing a tantrum because he overheard a joke about her having another baby.
The clip started speculation that Yosohn is feeling neglected by his father, which prompted Herbo to share a video on his Instagram Stories.
“What the fuck type of sick individual, human being, do you have to be to want a three-year-old to despise or not like his own siblings,” he said. “I don’t get it. A mother’s relationship with a child and a father’s relationship with a child are two totally different relationships.”
He also appeared to address individuals who suggested he couldn’t provide enough love to Yosohn because he has a child with Taina Williams.
“I hope y’all find someone in life that will actually love y’all unconditionally,” he said.
After Herbo shared the video, Fletcher posted an extensive statement in which she accused Williams of hurting Yosohn. “How about to tell the truth for ONCE. Tell them how my son came home with a scar on him and saying what Taina did to him while you wasn’t home and even tho he told you out his own mouth what she did and he was crying and she didn’t help him and she’s mean to him and he don’t like her and shit happened while you wasn’t home,” she wrote.
Fletcher said she’d give Herbo “a week” to handle the situation, and that she doesn’t want Williams near their son anymore. “You sat up and said in front of her that my baby was lying,” she added. “That’s why you haven’t seen your son foreal and that’s why he probably doesn’t want me to have no other kids because the way your other babymama treats him. When you finally came to where we live you got him for one day, posted on Instagram and left.”
After the Shade Room pointed out the situation, Herbo hopped in the comments to deny Fletcher’s accusations. “If y’all believe I’ll let anybody on earth mistreat my son y’all ass stupid,” he wrote.
Williams issued her own response to Fletcher’s allegations, insisting she has nothing but love for Herbo’s son.
“I’ve allowed you to create false narratives about me in the past, but I will not let you create this narrative when it comes to a child that I have so much love for,” she wrote to Fletcher on social media. “Anybody that knows me knows I would never lay a finger on him or any child. I have always had to hide my love for Yosohn out of respect for you & your wishes. When I met Herb I knew he was apart of the package. I signed up for this even with all the drama that came with it.”
Williams went on to say she had hoped that everyone involved could settle their differences like adults; but the constant attacks from Fletcher gave her no choice but to publicly defend herself.
“One thing you will not do is attack my character when it comes to being a parent & accuse me of child abuse,” she continued. “You have continuously attacked me. As I sit here 8 months pregnant, emotionally drained.. it sickens me that you have this much hatred for me that you would portray me in this light. Regardless how you may feel about me…I love Yosohn. I pray that you find whatever healing you need.”
Shortly after Williams’ posted her response, Fletcher returned to Instagram Live with purported receipts. The 26-year-old demanded Williams to remove Yosohn from her social media accounts, and reiterated her allegations of abuse. Fletcher then played multiple audio clips in which a child expresses their dislike of Williams. The youngster is heard calling Williams “mean” and claims the influencer had hurt them. The child also says they want to “shoot” and call the police on Williams.
“What did she do that makes you want to shoot her?” a woman is heard asking the clip.
“She threw a pillow at me,” the child responds. “It hurt me.”
“OK, y’all get the picture. And I have eight more of them videos,” Fletcher said after playing the audio. “So don’t ever tell me that I’m trying to create a false narrative about you doing nothing. And stop coming on here, talking about somebody being bitter. I’m not bitter. Bitter about what? Please explain to me what I’m bitter about. Nothing.”
Fletcher gave birth to Yosohn in 2018, and Herbo has been engaged to Williams since late 2020. The couple had their first child in May 2021.
