Future has shared the cinematic new video for “Love You Better,” an emotive highlight from his chart-topping album I Never Liked You.

The Atlanta rapper’s latest video stars Shannon Thornton, who currently appears in the Starz series P-Valley. Featuring a heartbroken Future in dramatic, clown-like makeup, the clip reflects the lyrics of the song and tells the story of love slipping through his fingers. With plenty of darkly-lit shots interspersed with Future’s ex enjoying her life with her new boyfriend, it’s a suitably lovelorn video that perfectly matches the mood of the song.

Following the release of I Never Liked You, Future has shared a number of impressive music videos. Most notably, he went for a fantasy approach with “Wait For U,” his collaboration with Drake and Tems. More recently, he shared clips for “Puffin on Zootiez,” and the more thrifty video for “Holy Ghost,” which was shot in Little Havana in Florida.

Future is set to appear at Rolling Loud New York 2022 as a headliner this September, alongside other heavy-hitters such as Nicki Minaj, ASAP Rocky, Lil Baby, and 21 Savage among others. It was also revealed last month by world-famous Atlanta strip club Magic City that the rapper sometimes gets his mail delivered there, because of course he does.
