Flume has shared his latest song and video for âSay Nothingâ with MAY-A, which is also the lead single from the musicianâs forthcoming album Palaces.
In the visual, we see MAY-A buried in black sand, interspersed with shots of a motorcyclist dressed in psychedelic gear.
âThis song is about feelings of post relationship clarity,â Flume said in a statement. âWe wrote the song midway through 2020 while the pandemic was still pretty new. I was really excited about the initial idea but it was only once I got back to Australia in early 2021 and linked up in the studio with MAY-A that the song really came to life.â
âWorking with Flume on âSay Nothingâ has been a really incredible experience,â MAY-A added. âIâm such a big fan of Harleyâs so itâs unbelievable to be in a position to create music with someone I look up to and can learn so much from. His creative process is a really inspiring thing to be a part of. Iâm so excited for everyone to hear the song!â
Palaces is slated for a May 20 release via Future Classic and Transgressive. Flume is also set to play a number of festivals in 2022, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Governors Ball.
