The Beyhive received an unexpected gift Friday night: Beyoncé released her Kendrick Lamar-assisted remix of “America Has a Problem.”

The surprise single opens with a braggadocious K.Dot verse, in which he highlights his unparalleled lyrical skills and reiterates his status in the game: “Universal, please don’t play possum/I’m a business man doin’ as follow,” he raps on the track. “Truthfully I be lyin’ in my rap song/‘Causе I always fail to mention I snap, homie … Gonna be fly, they all CGI you better get it off your chest like breast reduction … Even AI gotta practice copyin’ Kendrick.”

You can stream the track — co-produced by Beyoncé, The-Dream, and Mike Dean — on Apple Music and via Spotify below.

This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has joined forces with Kendrick. The two previously linked up on “Nile” from The Lion King: The Gift and “Freedom” off Bey’s Lemonade project. Months after the latter record was released, Kendrick spoke to Rolling Stone about the collaboration and what he learned during the process.

“How particular to be about your music. She’s a perfectionist,” he said. “Think about the BET performance. She was very particular—the lighting, the camera blocking, the transition from the music to the dancing. It was confirmation of something I already knew.”
