Baby Keem captures the tender moments of love and intimacy from the twisted vantage point of a fabricated Westworld simulation in the new visuals for his track “16.”
The Jonas Lindstroem-directed visual for this track looks to be heavily inspired by the popular HBO series, with Keem having nightmares about testing out love with a series of different robotic women as he struggles to weather the storm of his real-life relationship.
“16” was featured on Keem’s last album, The Melodic Blue. Nearly two weeks ago, the rapper teased that there is “more to the story of baby keem & the melodic blue.”
As it stands, “16,” is only the third track off The Melodic Blue to get a music video, joining “first order of business” and “issues.” Both received visuals around the same time the album dropped five months ago.
Since then, Keem has been staying busy.
The up-and-coming rapper was featured on Kanye West’s Donda track “Praise God” with Travis Scott, and was most recently heard on one of the songs Ye previewed during his Donda 2 listening experience in Miami this week. All signs point to Keem having a big 2022.
