Houston producer Apex Martin takes a huge step in his young career today with the release of his new EP, Apex. Seven songs in length, the EP displays Apex's ability to balance dark, experimental sounds with hard-hitting bass and kicks. The intro song, "59," begs for a Kanye West feature, while "Black Out" brings out that signature Houston sound with incredible bounce and flare. For a producer who just turned 18 today, it's not hard to see that the future is very bright for Apex Martin.
