Lil Baby returned Friday with the new single “Detox,” plus its music video and an album announcement.

“Baby Takeover Starts Now 😮‍💨😮‍💨…..Let’s Get Ittttttt,” he wrote on Instagram.

With a visual focusing on boxing, yoga, and business, the track features entrancing, fairly minimalist production from Cubeatz, Eza, KJ, Nick Papz, and London Jae. Baby’s performance is, of course, characteristically elite.

The 27-year-old hitmaker proceeded to announce his album It’s Only Me will drop Oct. 14. “I Kno Its Been Along Time Coming But I’m Coming Harder And Harder,” he captioned an IG post revealing the cover art, which definitively states who’s on Lil Baby’s Rap Mt. Rushmore and who he thinks the GOAT is.

The Atlanta artist promised “this summer mines” and “it’s gone be a nastyyyyy summer” back in March on social media, so swap in “fall” and both sentiments likely still stand. He shared a teaser a couple weeks ago that saw multi-time partner in crime Drake pop up in the comments to enthuse, “Been rolling to this for a month…WHAM really a GUY.”

Baby wrote alongside the preview, “I kno y’all tired of waiting ‘It’s Only Me’ sooooooon. them other snippets ain’t go make it.”
