Ever since Yeat received a co-sign from Drake, the speculation has been rampant. Namely, fans want to know when, or if, they should expect to see the two trading verses on a song together.

As highlighted in Yeat’s new Complex cover story, the two have not actually made any music yet, but Yeat says they will in the future, although a timeline remains unclear.

“We’re going to have some shit on the way,” Yeat revealed. “In the future. Not yet. I want to make it in-person with him. I don’t want to be sending shit.”

According to Yeat, who last gave fans new music in the form of his Lyfë EP, Drake has shown him “a lot of love” in the months since first quoting “Gët Busy” on Instagram.

Elsewhere, Yeat recalled the last-minute journey to meet up with Drake at his Certified Lover Boy release event in Houston last year.

“It was late as fuck at night and Zack [Bia] was like, ‘Yo, Drake said let’s go to Houston,’ and I was like, fuck it,” he explained. “So we bought a flight instantly. We got there in like three hours. We were there for the album release party, and then left three hours later. Shit was fire.”
