This year will bring a number of anticipated projects, including recently announced full-lengths from Justin Bieber and more. SZA, mercifully, will also be active with new music in 2020 that's set to include a Sam Smith collaboration among other treats.

During a round of questions with fans on Twitter overnight, the Ctrl artist teased that she had recently discussed an album date with TDE's Punch, though the thought of sharing the specifics with the world boasts the potential for "unnecessary pressure" moving forward.

"Short answer is yes," she told a fan who asked if new music would arrive in 2020.

I’d say the date me and punch jus discussed .. but that would stress me n build uneccesary pressure 🥺.. short answer is yes https://t.co/pXRW7noddh

Later, SZA said a new track with Sam Smith was "already done." She also discussed her workout playlist habits, which have recently included full album run-throughs of Travis Scott's ASTROWORLD and an assortment that includes Baby Keem, Playboi Carti, and more.

Following the 2017 release of her Grammy-nominated Ctrl, SZA appeared on the 2019-released Game of Thrones soundtrack cut "Power Is Power" with the Weeknd. That same year, she linked with DJ Khaled for the Father of Asahd track "Just Us" and Post Malone for the Hollywood's Bleeding entry "Staring at the Sun." And during an edition of Frank Ocean's PrEP+ Club Night in New York back in October, a remix of SZA's "The Weekend" was debuted.
