Nicki Minaj Gives Travis Scott 'Hoe N***a of the Week' Award on Queen Radio

Following the release of 'Queen,' and her subsequent criticism of 'ASTROWORLD' strategies, Nicki Minaj is back with another round of her Beats 1 show Queen Radio.

A lot has happened since we last got a new episode of Nicki Minaj's Beats 1 show.

Following the release of her long-awaited Queen album, which opened at No. 2 behind Travis Scott's ASTROWORLD, Minaj shared her thoughts on the effectiveness of chart tabulation in a series of tweets over the weekend. Minaj also criticized Spotify. "[Travis Scott] knows he doesn't have the #1 album this week," Minaj said. "I love my fans for the #1 album in AMERICA! I'll explain on #QueenRadio 4 albums in, #1 in 86 countries."

The Huffington Post, per Minaj's Instagram post Monday, is up for the very unfortunately named Cock Sucka of the Day award. At the start of Tuesday's broadcast, Minaj announced a total of four awards: Secret Hata of the Year, Hoe N***a of the Week, Queen, and the aforementioned one. However, only the Hoe N***a award was given out to Travis Scott.

"What we not gon' do is have this Auto-Tune man coming up here selling fucking sweaters and telling ya'll he sold a half a million fucking albums 'cause he didn't," she said. "Travis Scott, you played your fucking self also for having your fucking friend come on the internet talking up for you. You stupid fuck. You're a fucking man. You got your fucking homeboy talking for you, and you got your girlfriend posting fucking tour passes saying you sold albums. Stop it. Knock it the fuck off."

As far as the Queen award, no one specifically received it, but Harriet Tubman, Aretha Franklin, Normani, and Ariana Grande were all honored in their own way.

Minaj later revealed she had recently spoken with her former associate Big Fendi via text about a possible face-to-face meet-up. Fendi, she said, "knows of all people" that she pens her own words. "Every sexual photo and everything I did, that was Fendi's idea," she said of her early years. "I just knew that that would take away from people believing in my substance as an artist. I was worried about the longevity . . . Because of that beginning, good or bad, I've had to do so much more to prove [myself]."

A new freestyle, in which Minaj is "addressing everyone," was also further teased during the episode.

Though some have tried to unfairly characterize Minaj's chart criticisms as a sign of something else entirely, that's abjectly unfair. If men can talk their respective shit, the same grace should be granted to women in the industry. During Tuesday's Queen Radio, Minaj made a point to note several times that the awards and preceding tweets are all just "entertainment" and shouldn't be viewed otherwise. However, she also stressed that she feels it's important to speak out about the issues in her respective industry.

Revisit the episode right here. On the next episode, Minaj will be giving out the newly announced Suck My Pussy award.
