Netflix's Homecoming, which is indeed a Beyoncé documentary, has been formally confirmed by way of an official trailer.

Early Monday, Netflix shared the first look at Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, out April 17. Catch the doc's new trailer up top. As expected, the film will focus on Bey's 2018 Coachella performance, offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at what it took to pull off the iconic set "from creative concept to cultural moment."

Over the weekend, fans started connecting the dots when Netflix shared a Homecoming teaser image sans any explicit mentions of Beyoncé. Specifically, the choice of font (see above) was quite familiar to anyone who may have secured some Beyoncé merch in Indio last year.

Beyoncé's self-directed Life Is But a Dream doc dropped via HBO in 2013, bringing together personal footage and performance shots for a 90-minute look at the Grammy winner's take on the art life.

Last month, Beyoncé joined husband JAY-Z to accept the Vanguard Award at this year's GLAAD Media ceremony. During their impassioned acceptance speech, Beyoncé called for the continuation of shattering stigmas.

"We would like to request that we continue to shift the stigmas in this community, she told attendees at the Beverly Hills gala. "Especially the stigmas in black families towards accepting queer black and brown men and women around the world."

Beyoncé is also rumored to be working on new music. Lemonade, her most recent studio album, arrived to simultaneous critical and commercial embrace back in April 2016.
