If you thought we'd be leaving the Machine Gun Kelly and Eminem back-and-forth in 2018, you were unconscionably wrong.
Late Wednesday, Kelly sent out a quick message to fans letting them know he fully backs Eminem's recent decision to not perform his 2018 diss track "Killshot" at a show in Brisbane. By Kelly's assessment, doing so would have put the entire audience to sleep due to "Killshot" being a "weak ass song."
In fan-captured footage from the show in question, Em is seen briefly addressing the Kelly situation while declining to perform the track amid audience members' calls for him to do so. "I would, but I can't give that cocksucker any more fucking light," he told the crowd. "Brisbane, did y'all enjoy your fucking selves tonight? Brisbane, thank you, family, for making us feel like family. Y'all are family and we love you. Brisbane, make it home safe and make nothing for MGK."
"Killshot" arrived as a response to Kelly's "Rap Devil," itself a play on Em's "Rap God," back in September. This whole ordeal started with a tweet from Kelly back in 2012 about Em's daughter and was revived seemingly out of nowhere in early 2018 with a Kelly line on Tech N9ne's "No Reason" that some interpreted as a subtle Em diss.
Also in 2018, Kelly took a bold stance against the proliferation of cantaloupes in fruit bowls.
