Jay Jones is dropping his new Young Money project 2000 Hollygrove later this month. Ahead of the release, Jones shared a new collab with Lil Wayne that sees the Young Money boss fully spazzing through Auto-Tune over some production from Swede (of 808 Mafia).

"The only person that I had in mind to get on the record was big bro," Jones said in a statement. "I reached out to Mack [Maine] and told [him] we have to get Tune on. I went so crazy on it. Big bro competitive. If he feel like you eating, he's going to come right behind you and try to bite your head off. That's exactly what he did."

Jones' intention for 2000 Hollygrove, due out Dec. 29, is for the collection of songs to simultaneously prove his talent to the world while also keeping his New Orleans roots at the forefront. "No one has really had that exposure on them since the Hot Boys days," he said. "I'm trying to be that face for the city and bring [it] back to New Orleans. That real New Orleans sound, our lingo, how we talk. I'm bringing that back to the game."

This month will also see the long-awaited arrival of Wayne's Dedication 6. The project is a long time coming considering the fact that Dedication 5 dropped four excruciatingly long years ago.
