Ex-Donda's House Members Share Their Side of Rhymefest Drama

Over the weekend, Donda's House announced an impending name change following Rhymefest and Kim K's exchange of words.

Kim Kardashian added some clarity Sunday to the seemingly ongoing dispute over the handling of Donda's House, the nonprofit started by Kanye West and his late mother that was originally known as Loop Dreams. Now, in a series of social media posts, two ex-Donda's House members have added even more potential layers to the story.

"Might want to ask the actual Donda's House participants why we all left the organization," Instagram user @supermoon.info wrote in a since-altered caption Sunday, according toHotNewHipHop. "[We] have endless stories and receipts and some members even started recording [Rhymefest's] rants about hating Kanye so much."

The caption, at the time of this writing, now reads "updated caption: no longer family."

In subsequent posts, Supermoon shared alleged audio of Rhymefest discussing her relationship with another Donda's House member and claiming that West was going to send over a beat that he "never agreed to send." She also accused Rhymefest of kicking the same member out of the group for refusing to share a J. Cole contact.

Meanwhile, over on Twitter, Noel Malpica—the same Noel mentioned in the above Instagram captions—added more details. "I did not get to [J. Cole] under the Donda's House name," he said. "We got to him because I am a audio engineer, good conversation and vibes. And even if I did. Wasn't Donda's House supposed to be my family?" Malpica, it's worth noting, is mentioned as a Donda's House member in this 2014 Chicago Sun-Times profile.

Also let me clarify one thing. I did not get to @JColeNC under The Donda’s House name. We got to him because I am a audio engineer, good conversation and vibes. And even if I did. Wasn’t Donda’s House supposed to be my family?

As Kardashian explained in her most recent tweets on the matter, West "could no longer fund salaries" due to "personal financial issues" after several years of the organization underperforming. At this point, according to Kardashian, West agreed to have Rhymefest "take it over" with "no financial strings attached." Kardashian added that Rhymefest, who previously accused West of saying "fuck the youth of Chicago," is trying to use the Donda name to publicly shame West.

In a statement Saturday, Donda’s House announced that it would be changing its name due to Kardashina’s tweets and her "expressed interest of her family running the organization."
