No, this is not a reworking of a Marilyn Manson song.

Ed Sheeran and Khalid have shared the video for "Beautiful People," a new collaboration that's sadly not a rendition of the similarly named 1996 Marilyn Manson single.

Instead, the track is the latest release off the Edchup honoree's forthcoming No. 6 Collaborations Project. The video was directed by Andy McLeod and brings its Max Martin, Shellback, FRED, and Sheeran production to life by following an everyday couple thrust into the high stakes lifestyle that wealth and fame can bring.

"Khalid's got an undeniable, soulful voice and I knew he would be perfect for this track," Sheeran said in a press release Friday. "I think we both connect to this song in the same way and I’m really happy we got to work together."

No. 6 Collaborations Project also sees Sheeran connecting with Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, Stormzy, Justin Bieber, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Ella Mai, Skrillex, and more. The full thing, a follow-up to 2011's self-released No. 5 Collaborations Project EP, is out July 12 via Atlantic/Asylum.

When announcing the new album in May, Sheeran said he's "always wanted to do another" in the style of the No. 5 EP. While on tour in 2018, he got to work crafting ideas on his laptop.

"I'm a huge fan of all the artists I've collaborated with and it's been a lot of fun to make," he said at the time.

As of this Friday, you can also catch Sheeran in the film Yesterday, a Danny Boyle-directed story that reimagines a key component of music history.
