UPDATED 10:00 a.m. EST: To the surprise of no one, the TMZ report claiming that Cardi B and Offset were back together has been denied. In a tweet that has since been deleted, Cardi called out the report and said she hasn't been in the Atlanta area since the holidays. "TMZ why ya be lying," she said, per Uproxx. "I haven't even been in Atl since Christmas."
However, when Cardi was asked by a reporter whether she and Offset had rekindled their romance, she admitted, "We’re working things out, baby." The rapper was approached Thursday as she was leaving a Manhattan criminal court for alleged involvement in a strip-club fight.

Though it's really none of their or our business, TMZ spent a portion of the latter part of Wednesday evening putting together a report in which Cardi B and Offset were alleged to have resumed their relationship.
Their wording is that the couple is reportedly "officially back on" and will be back in the same Atlanta house together they previously shared prior to the relationship pause. The report also points to recent social media activity suggesting the reconciliation was imminent, including an "I wanna go home" comment from Cardi, but now the un-pausing is allegedly a "done deal."
Neither Cardi nor Offset have spoken on any of this publicly, hence the use of words like "reportedly" and "allegedly."
These instances of reportedly and allegedly arrive at a pivotal time, with Cardi teaming up with Pepsi for a Super Bowl ad and Offset still readying a solo album. Cardi was also recently invited to speak "to a reception of her choice " by Democrats in Polk County, Iowa. The group has previously hosted Nancy Pelosi, POTUS 2020 hopeful Kamala Harris, and more.
At next month's Grammys ceremony in Los Angeles, Cardi is among the artists nominated in the night's most-discussed category: Album of the Year. Her studio debut Invasion of Privacy is up against albums from Brandi Carlile, Drake, Post Malone, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe, and Kacey Musgraves. The Black Panther soundtrack is also up for the night's top prize. All told, Cardi bagged five nominations, including one for her feature on Maroon 5's "Girls Like You."
