Producer Sevn Thomas has had plenty of success before this year. He co-produced several massive Drake songs with Boi-1da ("10 Bands" and "6PM in New York"), and worked with Mac Miller, Mobb Deep, the Game, and more. But 2018 brought the Toronto-based producer to a whole new level. He's had songs on pretty much all of the hottest albums this year: Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V, JAY-Z and Beyoncé's Everything Is Love, Travis Scott's ASTROWORLD, and Nicki Minaj's Queen.
We sat down with Sevn to find out how he got to this point and got the whole story, from his first studio session at age 4 all the way to the inside scoop on the creation of songs like "Wake Up" and "Let It Fly."
