Trick Daddy was arrested in Miami Saturday morning for possession of cocaine.
The rapper's vehicle was reportedly running red lights and hitting signs. He "appeared to be asleep behind the wheel" when a police officer knocked on his window, according to the Miami Herald. Trick Daddy said he was drinking at a club and had about five drinks when the cop questioned him.
Trick Daddy agreed to a field sobriety test that he ended up failing. The Herald reports that he had "slurred speech, bloodshot, watery, glassy eyes" and the officer smelled alcohol on his breath. Sometime after, he was taken to the Hammocks District Station, where police found cocaine in his personal belongings.
The rapper's troubles didn't stop there: He was also wanted on a warrant for driving under the influence.
This isn't Trick Daddy's first run-in with the law over possession of cocaine. Back in 2014, he was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, driving with a suspended license, and possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. Trick Daddy, born Maurice Samuel Young, filed for bankruptcy last year.
