Swizz Beatz is celebrating hip-hop's 50th anniversary with a new EP in collaboration with Mass Appeal titled Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2

Last week, Swizz revealed the EP would be the next installment in the brand's expansive Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack project. Vol. 2 is entirely produced by the legendary Ruff Ryders beatsmith.

The project is an ode to New York rap, containing appearances from Nas, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Jadakiss, Benny the Butcher, Fivio Foreign, and Scar Lip. Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, Jay Electronica, and Badmanrill also show up for support.

Fans were lucky to get a taste of the new EP on Monday, when Swizz Beatz took to his Instagram and delivered a teaser for "This Shit Right Here," which has a credited Wayne feature plus a sprinkle of Jay-Z. In his post, Swizz included a black-and-white video equipped with a head-nod-inducing beat and ad-libs from Hov and Weezy F. Baby scattered throughout.

"SWIZZ X WAYNE X HOV THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE DROP 4/21 off my new EP," Swizz wrote in his caption. "Life begins at the end of your comfort Zone Let's Go!"

Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack project commemorates the culture's 50th birthday this year. The initiative will have 10 EPs of original music from iconic producers such as Mike Will Made-It, No I.D., Hit-Boy, Tainy, and more.

The first EP, Hip Hop 50: Vol. 1, kicked off the celebration last summer with DJ Premier handling production duties for the project.
