Nas has revealed that every year he tries to figure out who killed President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963.

During his interview with Billboard, Esco shared five things people don't know about him, and the selections were pretty regular. According to Nas, he likes to fly as it gives him a break from life, he likes the holidays, he loves Frank Sinatra's music, and he was a big fan of actor Jim Kelly. But his last tidbit may have people turning their heads.

"Every once in a while, once a year, I try to figure out who killed JFK," Nas said.

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, in 1963 when visiting the city on a presidential tour. Lee Harvey Oswald was taken into custody for the crime, but he was shot and killed two days after the arrest.

The FBI concluded that Oswald handled the assassination himself, but conspiracy theories continue to run rampant over who pulled the trigger that killed JFK.

Elsewhere in his conversation with Billboard, Nas reflected on the name of his 2006 album Hip Hop Is Dead and suggested he has no regrets, as he felt the culture was in the wrong hands at the time.

"I made an album called Hip Hop Is Dead [in 2006]. Sorry not sorry, but I did because there were so many times the power of this music was in the wrong hands—not artists, [but] businesspeople," he said of the title for the record, which proved to be controversial at the time.

He continued, "To see that we're here and [hip-hop is] thriving [is incredible]. The art form is crazy right now. That's a beautiful thing, and for younger artists that are just 20 years old to realize the history that is there and was laid down for them, to look at it and go, 'Wow, this is a long history with deep roots,' is a great feeling."
