Just in time to also give our favorite #plurnt HDYBYZ Josh and Curt a call via their newly established HDYNATION Hotline (1-828-4PLURNT–no seriously), Flosstradamus release the remixes to their Ultra-released chilled trap banger "Rebound." Daktyl, CRNKN and Twice as Nice are on duty here, and deliver three intriguing takes on the almost trap-trance track. England's Daktyl mutes the boom and increases the feels with a track that rocks instead of smoothly glides between the half-time breaks. A muted, yet energetic turn up, it certainly fits the more traditional expectation of trap-as-EDM. Vocals and energy are at the forefront of CRNKN's take, an electro two-stepper is the result, something feeling more Disclosure and less DJ Snake about his offering. Twice as Nice drop a guitar into the deep end of the feels pool and remove any semblance of half-time breakbeats giving the track far more of a blissful indie rock quality than anything else.
Preparing for a 24-date North American winter #HDYNATION tour, Flosstradamus are expanding the expectation of not just trap, but of their own desires to dominate big-room and festival EDM in 2015 and beyond.
