Last week, Nav boldly declared he was a top three artist from Toronto.
The rapper took to Instagram Stories to say he's "top 3 from my city no debate!"
Given the number of artists in Toronto right now, it's only natural that the Internet chimes in and speaks its piece.
Granted, the post doesn't specify if Nav meant rappers or artists, but people still had thoughts on the matter.
One Twitter user didn't care for genres and said that Bieber and Partynextdoor are also from the city and said Nav could is "barely top 5."
Others agreed saying that only Drake and The Weeknd were ranked higher.
Someone else narrowed the ranking strictly to hip-hop and thus agreed with Nav's take.
Beyond Drake and The Weeknd, many people placed other Torontonians including Daniel Caesar, Dvsn, and the recently convicted Tory Lanez in the same breath as Nav.
Artist rankings will always differ depending on who's doing them, but Nav shouldn't be worried about his standing as one of Toronto's biggest acts.
Prior to a successful homecoming concert at Scotiabank Arena, Nav sat down with Alex Narvaez to discuss the biggest show of his career, Rexdale food spots, and Lil Uzi Vert falling in his swimming pool.
