After releasing a slew of singles throughout 2023, Smiley has dropped his latest mixtape I Did What I Did.

Clocking in at nine tracks, the mixtape features the previously released "Nicky Nine Door," "Eternals," and "Fast Route," while giving fans six new songs to look forward to.

Three days before the project's release, Smiley released the music video for "Long Nights," the final track from his mixtape.

Smiley's sound doesn't stray too far from his typical aesthetic. The songs feature a mix of boasting, raunchiness, and sly humour mixed with Smiley's unmistakable flow.

Shortly before the mixtape dropped, the Toronto rapper took to Instagram to reveal he cancelled his release party only to have it in his studio instead.

Though the mixtape doesn't include any features, it does include several interesting names behind the boards including Tay Keith, Cash Cobain, and Tony Parker.

He also asked fans whether they'd be ready for mixtape-themed merch.

Smiley also released a video for "6ixer" in May, though the promotional song didn't make the album.
